PORK FROM A BETTER PLACE
We're working with local farmers around Carmarthenshire to reduce our food miles. We send our pigs to Tregaron abattoir and produce our products at our unit in Llanpumsaint, all within 30miles
All our pigs come from our smallholding and live outdoors 24/7, doing what all pigs should be able to do.. root, forage and graze.
We don't think of sausages and burgers as an extra product that should be made from the 'trimmings' We use prime cuts in our products!
Our sausages are hand made by us at our new unit in Carmarthenshire. We use traditional methods, which includes using natural skins

There seems to be a crisis in the pork industry,
Most pigs we eat live nothing but free.
Locked down in crates is no life for a piglets Mam,
But it's the price we are paying for our sandwich ham.
At Myrddin Heritage we believe our pigs should live,
Free-range, outdoors on the land we gladly give.
So when you choose our bangers, you know you lend a hand,
To pigs that live outside rooting on the land.
It's more than just a sausage, it's a lesson that is taught,
